PROCESS FOR INCREASING OCTANE AND REDUCING SULFUR CONTENT OF OLEFINIC GASOLINES ABSTRACT In a process for simultaneously reducing the sulfur content and increasing the octane number of an olefinic containing feedstock, the feedstock is contacted in a single stage process with a noble metal-containing crystalline zeolite having a Constraint Index less than 2 and a framework SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio no less than 50, under conditions sufficient to yield a product of increased octane number with respect to the octane number of the feedstock.
