TITLE PREPARATION OF HIGH VOID VOLUME HOLLOW FILAMENTS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for increasing the percent void of hollow filaments by contacting the filaments with water at a temperature of at least about 92°C for at least about 3 seconds. It is necessary that the treatment be carried out while the filaments are in an amorphous condition. Preferred filaments are polyesters.
