The invention relates to a process for initializing a link between a mobile terminal of a public mobile network and a domestic base station, for example a base station of a public switched network, comprising - authentication of the mobile terminal by the public mobile network; - transmission from the public mobile network to the terminal of data for initializing the link with the domestic base station; and - transmission of the said data from the mobile terminal to the domestic base station. It relates also to a service for the management of such links. The invention permits the operator of the public mobile network to manage the channels used by the mobile terminal for the link with the domestic base station. It also provides authentication security equivalent to that of the public mobile network.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'initialisation d'une liaison entre un terminalmobile d'un réseau public mobile et une station de base domestique, par exemple une station de base d'un réseau public commuté, comprenant - l'authentification du terminal mobile par le réseau public mobile; - la transmission au terminal depuis le réseau public mobile de données d'initialisation de la liaison avec la station de base domestique; et - la transmission de ces données depuis le terminal mobile à la station de base domestique. Elle concerne aussi un service de gestion de telles liaisons. L'invention permet à l'opérateur du réseau public mobile de gérer les canaux utilisés par le terminal mobile pour la liaison avec la station de base domestique. Elle assure en outre une sûreté d'authentification équivalente à celle du réseau public mobile.
