The invention relates to a method for isolating methyl glycine nitrile-N,N- diacetonitriles (MGDN) from an MGDN-containing aqueous emulsion with an MGDN content of 3 - 50% by weight in a crystallizer. The inventive method is characterized by (a) cooling the aqueous emulsion, starting from a temperature above the solidification point, to a temperature below the solidification point, the cooling rate in the temporal mean not exceeding 5 K/h, until substantially the total amount of the emulsified MGDN has solidified; and (b) continuing to cool the aqueous suspension obtained and/or concentrating it, the cooling rate being higher than that in step (a).
L'invention concerne un procédé d'isolement de méthylglycinenitrile-N,N-diacétonitrile (MGDN) dans un cristalliseur à partir d'une émulsion aqueuse contenant du MGDN dans une proportion comprise entre 3 et 50 % en poids. Selon ce procédé, (a) l'émulsion aqueuse est refroidie d'une température supérieure au point de solidification à une température inférieure à ce point, la vitesse de refroidissement ne dépassant pas en moyenne temporelle 5 K/h, jusqu'à solidification sensiblement de la quantité totale du MGDN émulsionné, (b) la suspension aqueuse obtenue est encore refroidie et/ou concentrée, la vitesse de refroidissement pouvant être supérieure à celle pour l'étape (a).
