PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION : Le gallium est récupéré à partir de solutions aqueuses très basiques, notamment à partir de lessives d'aluminate de sodium du procédé Bayer, par extraction li- quide/liquide au moyen d'une phase organique non miscible dans l'eau comprenant un solvant organique et une hydroxy- quinoléine substituée insoluble dans l'eau. La récupération du gallium est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins la phase d'extraction du gallium est effectuée sous atmosphère inerte.
