L'enceinte isolée (1) de conservation et de transport comporte un bac (2) de neige carbonique pourvu d'une ouverture latérale (5) permettant l'injection, dans le bac, de CO2 liquide sous pression par un moyen distributeur (10) relié à une source de CO2 liquide (6), le moyen distributeur étant muni d'une électrovalve (18) commandée par un bloc de commande (19) comportant des moyens de temporisation permettant de sélectionner la durée d'injection de CO2 liquide dans le bac (2) pour y constituer une réserve dosée de neige carbonique. Application à la conservation et au transport de produits alimentaires frais comme de produits alimentaires surgelés. Figure 1 à reproduire.
