Abstract A process for producing carbon monoxide through a reaction of carbon dioxide with pulverized fluid coke, either in the presence or absence of an alkali or alkaline metal compound catalyst. Enhancement of the reactivity of the fluid coke by pulverizing it and by combination with a catalyst is shown to render such a process more practical.
