PROCESS FOR MAKING METAL CHLORIDES Abstract A process for forming chlorides of copper, zinc, lead and silver from their oxides in which ferric chloride is added as a source of chlorine and in which iron oxide is formed. The chlorination is performed at a temperature from about 300°C to about 600°C.
