PROCESS FOR PRODUCING METAL FIBERS FROM SPHERICAL PARTICLES OF METAL POWDER AND APPARATUS FOR EFFECTING THIS PROCESS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The process for producing metal fibers from spheri- cal particles of metal powder effected by an apparatus for making metal fibers from spherical particles of of metal powder, in which the spherical particles are fed between the main surface whose generatrix is curvilinear and has a positive radius of curvature, and the addi- tional surface of a straining tool. The spherical partic- les are strained by stretching, twisting and by bending them at least once. Then the cylindrical fibers are removed from the apparatus.
