ABSTRACT PROCESS FOR MAKING PULP SHEETS CONTAINING DEBONDING AGENTS This invention comprises a process for making a pulp sheet containing a debonding agent comprising: a) forming said pulp sheet; and b) drying said pulp sheet and applying said debonding agent to said pulp sheet wherein said application of said debonding agent is initiated no earlier than the initiation of said drying. A second aspect of this invention consists of a pulp sheet comprising from about 0.001% to about 5.0% based upon the dry weight of the pulp sheet of a debonding agent selected from the group consisting of nonionic surfactants and anionic surfactants and wherein said pulp sheet is substantially free of cationic surfactants.
