The present invention comprises a process for producing a feed and a feed product from proteins like fish meal, soybean meal, rape meal, feather meal etc, binders like wheat, starch containing sources etc, lipids being of marine and/or vegetable origin and containing at least one of the conventional additives like minerals, vitamins, enzymes and pigments like astaxanthin. A storage stable intermediate product is manufactured by mixing the protein material with binders and possibly also the minerals which then are extruded, pelletized, granulated and formed into porous pellets suitable for transport or storage. The intermediate product is further processed by introducing a gel containing water and lipids or an emulsion containing water and lipids into the pores in a vacuum chamber, and where vitamins and possibly pigments and enzymes have been mixed with the gel or emulsion prior to introduction to the vacuum chamber, and that the vacuum is released from said chamber and the thus produced feed is transferred to storage or directly to the consumption site, like a fish farm. The new feature of the feed product is that the major part of the water and lipids are present in the form of a gel or emulsion in the pores of an intermediate product containing the proteins, minerals and minor amounts of water and lipids.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de nourriture et d'un produit alimentaire à partir de protéines de type farine de poisson, farine de soja, farine de navette, farine de plumes, etc., de liants de type blé, sources contenant de l'amidon, etc., de lipides d'origine marine et/ou végétale et d'au moins un des additifs classiques de type minéraux, vitamines, enzymes et pigments de type astaxanthine. Un produit intermédiaire stable au stockage est obtenu par mélange de la matière protéinée à des liants et éventuellement aux minéraux, le mélange obtenu étant ensuite extrudé, transformé en granulés poreux aptes au transport et au stockage. Le produit intermédiaire est ensuite soumis à un traitement qui consiste à introduire un gel contenant de l'eau et des lipides ou une émulsion contenant de l'eau et des lipides à l'intérieur des pores dans une chambre à vide, les vitamines et éventuellement les pigments et enzymes ayant été préalablement mélangés au gel ou à l'émulsion avant l'introduction dans la chambre à vide. Le vide est libéré de ladite chambre et la nourriture ainsi obtenue est transférée pour être stockée ou transportée directement sur le site de consommation, de type pisciculture. La nouvelle caractéristique dudit produit alimentaire réside en ce que l'eau et des lipides sont présents en majeure partie sous forme de gel ou d'émulsion dans les pores d'un produit intermédiaire contenant les protéines, les minéraux et de faibles quantités d'eau et de lipides.
