Process for manufacturing a high critical temperature flexible superconductor, according to which a deposit of superconducting ceramic is applied to a metal ribbon whose thickness is between 0.1 mm and 1 mm, characterized in that: the said deposit, whose thickness is between 50 µm and 300 µm, passes through an infrared beam at a speed of at least 5 cm per minute, the area treated by the said beam being less than 10 mm wide in the direction of motion of the ribbon, and reaching a surface temperature of at least 1200 degrees C, so as to give the said deposit a dense superficial superconducting layer, textured in the direction of motion, having a thickness of between 10 µm and 100µm; and that the ribbon is then annealed in oxygen.
Procédé de fabrication d'un conducteur souple supraconducteur à haute température critique selon lequel on applique sur un ruban métallique d'épaisseur comprise entre 0,1 mm et 1 mm un dépôt de céramique supraconductrice, caractérisé par le fait: - que ledit dépôt, d'épaisseur comprise entre 50 µm et 300 µm, défile dans un faisceau infrarouge avec une vitesse au moins égale à 5 cm par minute, la zone traitée par ledit faisceau présentant, dans le sens du défilement, une largeur inférieure à 10 mm et une température de surface au moins égale à 1200°C, de manière à conférer audit dépôt une couche supraconductrice superficielle dense, texturée dans le sens de défilement, présentant une épaisseur comprise entre 10 µm et 100 µm, - et que l'on effectue ensuite un recuit sous oxygène.
