A process for manufacturing a shoe sole includes the steps of preparing a first mold with a first mold cavity, introducing a first polymeric material and metal particulate into the first mold cavity, applying heat and pressure to the mixture of the first polymeric material and the metal particulate to cure the first polymeric material and to form an inner shoe sole, preparing a second mold with a second mold cavity, placing the inner shoe sole in the second mold cavity, introducing a second polymeric material into the second mold cavity, and applying heat and pressure to the second polymeric material and the inner shoe sole to form a product having an outer shoe sole surrounding and bonded to the inner shoe sole.
