The invention relates to a process to improve wet tensile strength as well as water-swelling property of a water-disintegrable sheet to be used as a wet wipe for cleaning in household. A mixture of water-swelling or water-insoluble carboxymethyl cellulose and/or salt thereof having a degree of substitution - 0.30 - 0.60 and pH >= 5.0 and water- dispersible fibers is subjected to a foliating step of a process to obtain the water-disintegrable sheet and, before or after the foliating step of the process, the mixture is added with a base.

Procédé de fabrication d'une feuille hydrolysable qui peut être utilisée comme chiffon mouillé, et possède une résistance au mouillé et une dispersibilité dans l'eau accrues. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: on constitue une feuille hydrolysable à partir d'un mélange d'une carboxyméthylcellulose gonflant légèrement dans l'eau ou insoluble dans l'eau, ayant un degré de substitution compris entre 0,30 et 0,60, et un pH d'au moins 5,0, et/ou de ses sels, avec des fibres dispersibles dans l'eau; puis on ajoute du chlore au mélange avant ou après l'étape de fabrication de la feuille.
