A process for manufacturing artificial marble having stripe patterns, comprising: injecting a liquid resin containing a heterogeneously dispersed coloring agent into a molding cell; forming more than one layer of a liquid resin of a different color on the liquid resin containing the heterogeneously dispersed coloring agent; moving a comb-shaped tool in the layered liquid resins with the teeth in contact with the bottom face of the molding cell; and subsequently setting the liquid resins. It is possible to simply produce artificial marble having stripe patterns, a natural straight grain and a delicate color that natural wood has, or an appearance of good texture and depth like natural marble.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour fabriquer du marbre artificiel à motifs rayés, consistant à injecter dans une cellule de moulage une résine liquide contenant un colorant à dispersion hétérogène, à former plus d'une couche d'une résine liquide d'une couleur différente sur la résine liquide renfermant le colorant précité, à déplacer un outil en forme de peigne dans les résines liquides en couches, les dents de l'outil étant en contact avec la face inférieure de la cellule de moulage, et ensuite à laisser durcir les résines liquides. Il est possible de produire de manière simple un marbre artificiel présentant des motifs rayés, le fil droit naturel et la couleur délicate du bois naturel, ou bien la texture et l'épaisseur du marbre naturel.
