The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing chew-ing gum, which said chewing gum comprises a core formed by at least one gum base and at least one sweetener. Said process comprises the steps of: a) mixing said gum base with at least one sweetener; b) processing said formulation to obtain a plurality of cores; c) placing said cores in contact with a quantity of water suffi-cient to wet at least the outer surface of each core; and d) coating the wetted outer surface of each core with a coating substance in particulate form.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour fabriquer une gomme à mâcher, ladite gomme à mâcher comprenant un cur formé par au moins une base en gomme et au moins un édulcorant. Ledit procédé comprend : a) le mélange de ladite base en gomme avec au moins un édulcorant; b) le traitement de ladite préparation de façon à obtenir une pluralité de curs; c) la disposition desdits curs en contact avec une quantité d'eau suffisante pour humidifier au moins la surface externe de chacun desdits curs; et d) l'enrobage de la surface externe humidifiée de chaque cur avec une substance de revêtement sous une forme particulaire.
