ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a process for the manufacturing of refining discs for vegetable pulp, comprising essentially the preparation, with a model which is exactly the same shape as the disc, but made instead of wood, or other proper material, of a mould in casting sand, in which, after removal of the model, refining blades previously prepared, having the thickness, height, length and hardness required, are, then, inserted in a required position, united by melting, by means of a concentric ring framework or the like, and, finally, the melted metal is poured over the framework, gripping the knives or blades at the same time, as well as, covering entirely the interconnection framework, and afterwards, after cooling the disc obtained, may be taken out of the mould, and subjected to machining for finishing.
