Sulfation methods for producing longer chain length alkyl sulfate and/or alkyl alkoxylated sulfate surfactant compositions. This method utilizes the presence of a significant amount of mid-chain branched alcohol and/or polyoxyalkylene alcohol in the sulfation reaction to significantly reduce the reaction temperature, thereby improving product quality and saving energy.

Procédés de sulfatation permettant de produire des compositions tensioactives à base d'alkylsulfates et/ou d'alkylsulfates alcoxylés ramifiés à plus grande longueur de chaîne. Ces procédés utilisent la présence d'une quantité significative d'alcools et/ou de polyoxyalkylène alcools ramifiés en milieu de chaîne dans la réaction de sulfatation pour réduire de manière significative la température de réaction, ce qui améliore la qualité du produit et économise de l'énergie.
