PROCESS FOR MOLDING REINFORCED TIRE Abstract of the Disclosure The method of molding a pneumatic tire (10) having a radially outer tread portion, a tire casing (20) underlying the tread portion (22) and a reinforcing cord belt (24) interposed between the tread portion (22) and casing (20) in which the tread portion (22) is spin cast and then partially cured in the mold (30), the reinforcing cord belt (24) is then fastened to the tread portion (22), a core (32) inserted in the mold and the tire casing spin cast and cured. The reinforcing cord belt may be adhered to the tread portion by staples (60) or a skim coat adhesive (62) to hold the belt in place during the spin casting of the tire casing.
