Ce procédé est caracté- risé par le fait que l'on produit des racines de dicoty- lédones transformées génétiquement par insertion, dans le génome des racines, de gènes du plasmide Ri ou Ti, puis que l'on inocule les racines par des spores d'endomycorhi- zes. Les racines mycorhizées sont utilisées en agricul- ture et horticulture.
