Process for obtaining polyvinyl acetate (Mw = 10 000-40 000 daltons) and copolymers of Vac-VA with a molar content of monomer units of vinyl alcohol lower than 30 %, high purity and innocuous by oral administration and utilization of the same as agglutinating agents and exclusive or fundamental constituents of matrices which control the release of active principles in tablets and pellets. The PVAc and the copolymers can be transformed into powders and granules as a base with acceptable stability during its shelf life.
L'invention concerne des procédés d'obtention d'acétate de polyvinyle (PM= 10000-40000 daltons) et de copolymères de Vac-VA à teneur molaire en unités monomères d'alcool vinylique inférieure à 30 %, présentant une pureté élevée et sans danger après administration orale. L'invention concerne en outre leur utilisation en tant qu'agglutinants et constituants exclusifs ou fondamentaux de matrices de régulation de la libération des principes actifs dans les comprimés et les granules. Le PVAc et les copolymères peuvent être transformés en poudre et granulés faisant preuve d'une stabilité acceptable lors de leur stockage.
