ABSTRACT A description is given of a process for the oligomerization of light olefines or mixtures thereof, whereby such olefines, where appropriate diluted by means of an inert gas, are caused to react with the use of synthetic zeolites with a content of silicon, titanium and gallium oxides corresponding in the calcined, anhydrous state with the following empirical formula : pHGaO2 ? qTiO2 ? SiO2 , where p is of a value greater than zero and less than or equal to 0.050 and q of a value greater than zero and less than or equal to 0.025, with the H+ of HGaO2 being at least partly exchangeable or exchanged with cations.
