ABSTRACT Bread and other baked goods are packed and partly baked in an impervious package made from a film of synthe- tic resin, preferably a laminate of different resins, vent means bigger than disclosed in co-pending Canadian Patent Application No. 250,566 and preventing the package bursting during baking and collapsing when cooling also limits the amount of infection sucked into the package on cooling and is sealed before the contents of the package are pasteurized to provide a product of exceptionally long shelf-life with- out chilling or refrigeration which the consumer quick-bakes to produce a fresh loaf or other baked goods.
