PROCESS FOR PREPARING 4-[2-(DIALKYLAMINO)ETHYL]ISATINS Abstract of the Disclosure 4-[2-(Dialkylamino)ethyl]isatins are prepared by internal condensation of an oxime followed by optional removal of protecting groups. The products of the reaction are D2-agonists and, thereby, have anti-hypertensive activity. A compound prepared using this process is 4-[2-(di-n-propylamino)ethyl]-4-hydroxyisatin.
