ABSTRACT The invention is a process for preparing a carbonate con- taining detergent slurry with reduced viscosity by incorporating in the detergent slurry from 0.5 to 10% of an alkylpolyglycoside and 0.5 to 10% of an alkali metal chloride, the percentage being by weight of the non-aqueous portion of the slurry.
