ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for producing diorgano polysiloxanes wherein from about 0.1 to 1% of the organo groups are vinyl comprises reacting in emulsion a mixture of the corresponding cyclic tetra siloxanes with an alkyl benzene sulfonic acid and neutralizing the product with an alkanolamine. The neutralized emulsion can be further reacted with a polyorganosiloxane having at least two silhydrogen groups per molecule in the presence of a platinum catalyst, and has particular utility in providing a non-adherent coating.
