A polyvinyl alcohol gel can be easily and quickly produced by a process having the following steps: (a) use of an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution with a degree of hydrolysis 98 % by moles; (b) admixture of an additive that is dissolved in the aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution and forms a separate, finely distributed and aqueous phase after concentration of the solution; (c) drying of the aqueous solution to a residual water content of maximum 50 wt. % to cause the phases to separate and hence the polyvinyl alcohol to gel; (d) rehydrating the polyvinyl alcohol in an aqueous medium.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production aisée et rapide d'un gel à base d'alcool polyvinylique, qui comprend les étapes suivantes : a) utilisation d'une solution aqueuse d'alcool polyvinylique ayant un degré d'hydrolyse ?98 % en mole; b) adjonction d'un additif dissous dans la solution aqueuse d'alcool polyvinylique, après adjonction, qui forme une phase séparée contenant de l'eau et présentant de fines particules lors de la concentration; c) séchage de la solution aqueuse jusqu'à obtention d'une teneur en eau résiduelle maximale de 50 % en poids, afin d'entraîner la séparation des phases et la gélification l'alcool polyvinylique qui y est liée; d) rétrogonflement de l'alcool polyvinylique dans une substance aqueuse.
