The invention concerns a process for preparing alkyne diols or mixtures of alkyne diols with alkyne monools by reacting acetylene with more than equimolar amounts of ketones and/or aldehydes in the presence of an alkaline compound, the alkaline compound being used in a molar amount which is less than half the molar amount of the ketone and/or aldehyde to be reacted, in the presence of ammonia and/or at least one reactive primary amine.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'alcyne-diols ou de mélanges d'alcyne-diols avec des alcyne-monools, par réaction d'acétylène avec des cétones et/ou des aldéhydes, dans des volumes supérieurs au volume équimolaire, en présence d'un composé alcalin, ce dernier étant utilisé dans un volume molaire inférieur à la moitié du volume molaire de la cétone et/ou de l'aldéhyde devant réagir, en présence d'ammoniac et/ou d'au moins une amine primaire réactive.
