A process for preparing an insulated metallized substrate, wherein a specified metallized substrate is heated from ambient temperature to a peak temperature of at least about 800 degrees centigrade while contacting the substrate with an inert atmosphere containing less than 10 parts per million of oxygen, maintained at such peak temperature for a specified period of time while being contacted with said inert gas, and thereafter heated at a peak temperature of at least about 800 degrees centigrade while being contacted with a gas containing at least 100 parts per million of oxygen.

Un procédé permet de préparer un substrat métallisé isolé par chauffage d'un substrat métallisé spécifique, depuis la température ambiante jusqu'à une température maximum d'au moins 800 ~C environ, tandis que le substrat est mis en contact avec une atmosphère inerte contenant moins de 10 ppm d'oxygène, par maintien du substrat à cette température maximum pendant une durée précise tandis que le contact avec ce gaz inerte est maintenu, puis par chauffage dudit substrat à une température maximum d'au moins 800 ~C environ tandis qu'il est mis en contact avec un gaz contenant au moins 100 ppm d'oxygène.
