PROCESS FOR PREPARING AROMATIC POLYAMIDE FIBER AND FILM ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a process for preparing aromatic polyamide (Aramid) fibers and film, and particularly to the preparation of aromatic polyamide fibers and film, by means of a molecular orientating polymerization in a polymerization- accelerant (namely, a polymerization accelerating-precipitation solvent) following the preparation of a liquid crystalline prepolymer dope (LCPD) of the aromatic polyamide. Such fibers have high strength and high durability to friction and do not contain crystal defect layers perpendicular to the fiber axis, in contrast to the prior art materials.
