The invention relates to processes for preparing bead polymers with an average particle size in the range from 1 to 40 µm, in which a polymerizable mix which comprises at least 50% by weight of (meth)acrylates is dispersed in an aqueous phase and polymerized. The dispersion, stabilized using an aluminium compound, is prepared at a shear rate >= 10 3 s -1. The bead polymers prepared by the process of the invention are particularly suitable for producing mouldings with a matt surface. The bead polymers may moreover be used advantageously in PAMA plastisols, dental compositions, and for production of plastic moulds, in particular for the ceramics industry.

L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de préparer des polymères en billes, la taille moyenne des particules y étant de 1 à 40 m, procédés selon lesquels un mélange polymérisable composé à au moins 50 % en poids de (méth)acrylates est dispersé dans une phase aqueuse et polymérisé. La dispersion, stabilisée à l'aide d'un composé de l'aluminium, est préparée à une vitesse de cisaillement de gtoreq 10 3 s -1. Les billes de polymère préparées selon ce procédé conviennent tout particulièrement pour la production de moulages à surface mate. Les billes de polymère peuvent également être employées avantageusement dans les plastisols PAMA, dans les compositions dentaires et pour la production de moules en plastique, surtout pour l'industrie de la céramique.
