A process for preparing a compound of formula (I) comprising reacting a compound of formula (II) with a fluorinated boron species of formula (III) in the presence of: an alcohol; a rhodium (I) pre-catalyst species; a suitable ligand that binds to the rhodium (I) pre-catalyst species to form a catalyst complex; a base; and, a suitable solvent; the process being carried out at a temperature in the range 40 to 110oC. The compounds of formula (I) are useful in the preparation of pharmaceutically active compounds.

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'un composé de formule (I) consistant en la réaction d'un composé de formule (II) avec un dérivé de bore fluoré de formule (III) en présence d'un alcool, d'une espèce pré-catalytique du rhodium(I), d'un ligand adapté qui se lie à l'espèce pré-catalytique du rhodium (I) pour former un complexe catalytique, d'une base et d'un solvant adapté ; le procédé étant réalisé à une température comprise entre 40 et 110 °C. Les composés de formule (I) peuvent être employés dans la préparation de composés pharmaceutiquement actifs.
