The present invention relates to a process for preparing carboxamides by hydrolysis of carboxylic acid nitriles in the presence of a catalyst comprising manganese dioxide, in which the reaction mixture added to the catalyst comprising manganese dioxide has a pH in the range from 6.0 to 11.0 and the hydrolysis is carried out in the presence of an oxidant. The present invention further relates to a process for preparing alkyl (meth)acrylates, which process has a hydrolysis step as per the above-described process.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'amides d'acide carboxylique par hydrolyse de nitriles d'acide carboxylique en présence d'un catalyseur comprenant du dioxyde de manganèse. Selon l'invention, le mélange réactionnel rentrant en contact avec le catalyseur comprenant du dioxyde de manganèse a un pH de 6,0 à 11,0 et l'hydrolyse est réalisée en présence d'un oxydant. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de (méth)acrylates d'alkyle, ledit procédé comprenant une étape d'hydrolyse selon le procédé décrit précédemment.
