The invention concerns a process for preparing coating slips containing at least one mineral substance, at least one binder, and water, characterized in that this composition is admixed with at least one comb polymer obtained by grafting at least one polyalkylene oxide function onto the polymer chain, said chain resulting from the polymerization of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The resulting coating slips feature an increase in water retention and a reduction in Brookfield viscosity as compared with the same slips containing a prior-art water-retaining thickener.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de sauces de couchage contenant au moins une matière minérale, au moins un liant et de l'eau, et caractérisé en ce qu'est introduit dans la composition précitée au moins un polymère peigne obtenu par greffage d'au moins une fonction oxyde de polyalkylène sur la chaîne polymérique, ladite chaîne résultant de la polymérisation d'au moins un monomère insaturé éthylénique. Les sauces de couchage ainsi obtenues présentent une augmentation de la rétention d'eau et une diminution de la viscosité Brookfield par rapport aux mêmes sauces contenant un agent épaississant rétenteur d'eau de l'art antérieur.
