Epoxy composites are prepared by separately preheating an epoxy resin and a hardener; mixing the preheated epoxy resin and preheated hardener to form a hot reaction mixture and curing the hot reaction mixture in the presence of a reinforcement until the mixture cures to form a composite having a polymer phase with a glass transition temperature of at least 150°C.

Cette invention se rapporte à des composites époxy préparés par préchauffage séparé d'une résine époxy et d'un durcissant; par mélange de la résine époxy préchauffée et du durcissant préchauffé de manière à former un mélange réactionnel chaud, puis par durcissement du mélange réactionnel chaud en présence d'un renfort jusqu'à ce que le mélange durcisse pour former un composite à phase polymère d'une température de transition vitreuse d'au moins 150 °C.
