A process for increasing the crystalline content of an amorphous or a semi-amorphous crystallizable thermoplastic resins is disclosed. The process entails heating the resin by Infra-red heating. The thus modified resin is then more suitable for drying at a high temperature. The dried resin, in pellets form, is characterized by its flowability and the article molded has better properties than does a corresponding article made from an unmodified resins.
