ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a process for producing di-amino-polyalkyenyl ethers by reacting (a) one of more acyclic or hetecocyclic amino compounds with (b) one or more polyalkenyl ether glycols or polyalkenyl amino ether alcohols, in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, at elevated temperatures and pressures. The resulting di-amino-polyalkenyl ethers are useful in acid gas scrubbing, particularly in the selective removal of H2S from gaseous streams containing CO2 and H2S.
