A process for producing alkylnaphthalene from a feedstock comprising isomers of dialkylnaphthalene and naphthalene by contacting the feedstock with a catalyst composition, in which the process comprising transalkylation between isomers of dialkylnaphthalene and naphthalene to produce monoalkylnaphthalene, and isomerization of dialkylnaphthalene, wherein the catalyst composition comprising a synthetic zeolite characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern including interplanar d-spacing as set forth in Table A of the specification.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'alkylnaphtalène à partir d'une charge d'alimentation constituée d'isomères du dialkylnaphtalène et du naphtalène, par mise en contact de la charge d'alimentation avec une composition catalytique. Dans ce procédé, il y a transalkylation des isomères du dialkylnaphtalène et du naphtalène, ce qui donne du monoalkylnaphtalène, et isomérisation du dialkylnaphtalène. La composition catalytique est constituée d'une zéolithe synthétique caractérisée par un diffractogramme X faisant état d'une distance réticulaire d correspondant à celle indiquée dans le tableau A de la spécification.
