ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Preparing a loaded polymer latex composition by mix- ing a polymer particle dispersed in an aqueous polymer latex, a hydrophobic substance, a water-miscible organic solvent and a water-immiscible organic solvent thus loading the polymer par- ticle with the hydrophobic substance. With this process no dispersing apparatus with high energy is required. The composi- tion is not subject to change in properties attributable to the action of heat. Layers formed can be made thinner. The burden imposed on drying the composition is reduced. Solvent removal is performed in short time. Composition is stable.
