IMPROVED PROCESS FOR PREPARING MIXED LITHIUM-CALCIUM SOAP THICKENED GREASES (D#72,556) ABSTRACT This invention converns a novel process for preparing mixed alkali metal-alkaline earth metal soap thickened greases of depressed yield by a one-step, non-melt process in which the temperature does not exceed the melting point of the alkaline earth metal soap contained in the grease during the entire grease manufacturing cycle. This procedure is especially useful in the preparation of water- resistant greases. -I-
