ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Powders of polyolefins such as low density poly- ethylene, high density polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers and ionomer resins are dry blended with a slip agent-containing concentrate and a free flow agent to provide coating compositions having good lubricity charac- teristics. The blended polyolefin powders can be applied by electrostatic coating or fluidized bed coating to such objects as glass containers to improve their impact and shattering resistance.
