Abstract Process for preparing precipitated silicas A heated sodium silicate solution is partially neutralised by a first acid addition, the slurry is then allowed to age and a second acid addition achieves the completion of the neutralisation of the heated sodium silicate solution. The slurry is then filtered, washed and dried.
