The invention relates to a process for preparing reabsorbable polyesters by bulk polymerisation, wherein the reaction components are melted and homogenised in a stirred reactor, the reaction mixture is then transferred into a number of smaller-volume containers, the reaction mixture is polymerised in these containers and the polyester obtained is isolated by removing it from the containers, and the use of the reabsorbable polyesters thus produced for preparing reabsorbable implants.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de polyesters resorbables par polymérisation en masse. Ce procédé consiste à faire fondre et homogénéiser les composants réactionnels dans un réacteur mélangeur ; puis à transférer le mélange réactionnel dans plusieurs récipients présentant un volume inférieur ; polymériser le mélange réactionnel dans lesdits récipients jusqu'à l'obtention du degré de polymérisation souhaité ; et isoler le polyester obtenu par prélèvement des blocs polymères contenus dans les récipients. L'invention se rapporte en outre à l'utilisation des polyesters résorbables ainsi produits pour produire des implants résorbables.
