The invention relates to a method for producing a solution of hydrocyanic acid salts, said method comprising the following steps: a) a raw gas containing hydrocyanic acid is produced by dehydrating formamide to a formamide transformation percentage of >= 97; b) optionally the raw gas obtained in step a) is subjected to acid washing; c) the raw gas obtained in step a) or optionally step b) is then reacted with an aqueous solution of a hydroxide M(OH)x, where M is selected from the group of alkali metals and earth alkali metals and x represents 1 or 2 according to the oxidation number of M.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une solution de sels de l'acide cyanhydrique, procédé caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : a) production d'un gaz brut renfermant de l'acide cyanhydrique, par déshydratation de formamide jusqu'à un degré de transformation de formamide >= 97 % ; b) le cas échéant, lavage à l'acide du gaz brut obtenu à l'étape a) ; c) réaction subséquente du gaz brut obtenu à l'étape a) ou, éventuellement, à l'étape b), avec une solution aqueuse d'un hydroxyde, M(OH)x où M est sélectionné dans le groupe des métaux alcalins et des métaux alcalinoterreux, et x est égal à 1 ou 2, suivant le degré d'oxydation de M.
