The invention relates to a method for catalytically oxidizing unsaturated hydrocarbons to form oxidation products, and to the production of saturated alcohols, ketones, aldehydes or carboxylic acids by subsequently hydrogenating the oxidation product. A compound of formula (I) is used as a catalyst during oxidizing in which: R1, R2 = H, an aliphatic or aromatic alkoxy radical, carboxyl radical, alkoxycarbonyl radical or hydrocarbon radical, each having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, SO3H, NH2, OH, F, Cl, Br, I and/or NO2, whereby R1 and R2 signify identical or different radicals or R1 and R2 can be coupled to one another via a covalent bond, with Q1, Q2 = the same or different, C, CH, N; X, Z = C, S or CH2; Y = O or OH; k = 0, 1 or 2; l = 0, 1 or 2; m = 1 to 100 in the presence of a radical initiator. Peroxy compounds or azo compounds can be used as radical initiators. Preferred substrates are cyclic aliphatic or aromatic compounds.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'oxydation catalytique d'hydrocarbures insaturés, de manière à obtenir des produits d'oxydation, et la production d'alcools, de cétones, d'aldéhydes et d'acides carboxyliques saturés par hydrogénation ultérieure du produit d'oxydation. Lors de cette oxydation, on utilise comme catalyseur un composé de formule (I), dans laquelle R?1¿, R?2¿ = H, un reste alcoxy, un reste carboxyle, un reste alcoxycarbonyle ou un reste hydrocarburé aliphatique ou aromatique, chacun présentant 1 à 20 atomes de carbone, SO¿3?H, NH¿2?, OH, F, Cl, Br, I et/ou NO¿2? ; R?1¿ et R?2¿ désignent des restes identiques ou différents ou R?1¿ et R?2¿ peuvent être liés l'un à l'autre par une liaison covalente ; Q?1¿, Q?2¿ = identiques ou différents, C, CH, N ; X, Z = C, S ou CH¿2? ; Y = O ou OH ; k = 0, 1 ou 2 ; l = 0, 1 ou 2 ; m = 1 à 100, en présence d'un amorceur radicalaire. Des composés peroxy ou azo peuvent être utilisés en tant qu'amorceurs radicalaires. Des composés aliphatiques ou aromatiques cycliques constituent des substrats préférés.
