This invention involves a new process for preparing spherules which is very easily implemented. It consists in passing an oil-in-water emulsion through a nozzle in such a way as to form spherules; a current of cold air is passed through the falling spherules, which are then collected in an aqueous solution containing a crosslinking agent.
