A process for preparing a starch-based thermoplastic hydroxy-functionalized polyetheramine comprising continuously feeding from 40 to 98 weight percent starch and from 2 to 60 weight percent of a thermoplastic hydroxy- functionalized polyetheramine into a mixing screw extruder at a temperature of from 30~C to 120~C while maintaining a water content in the extruder of from 7 to 50 percent, continuously removing the compounded mixture from the extruder in the form of strands at a rate of from 13.5 to 2725 kg/hour, and forming the strands of compounded mixture into pellets.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une polyétheramine hydroxy-fonctionnalisée à base d'amidon. Ce procédé consiste à introduire continuellement entre 40 % et 98 % en poids d'amidon et entre 2 % et 60 % en poids d'une polyétheramine hydroxy-fonctionnalisée thermoplastique dans une extrudeuse mélangeuse à vis à une température variant entre 30 ·C et 120 ·C tout en maintenant la proportion d'eau dans l'extrudeuse entre 7 % et 50 %, à extraire de manière continue le mélange composé de l'extrudeuse sous forme de fils à une vitesse variant entre 13,5kg/h et 2725kg/h, puis à former des granules avec les fils du mélange composé.
