ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE PROCESS FOR PREPARING SUBSTITUTED OXAZOLINES This invention relates to a process for preparing 2-oxazolines which comprises cyclodehydrating a hydroxy- alkylamide in the presence of a stannous salt of a carboxylic acid. The 2-oxazolines have a variety of uses such as pharmaceutical intermediates, pharmaceuticals and as stabilisers for resins.
