A process is disclosed for preparing sulphuric acid from gasses containing SO3 and gaseous nitrosylsulphuric acid by contact with highly concentrated sulphuric acid. The process is characterised in that the gasses flow through at least one cooler and are cooled down to 160 to 130 ~C before being brought into contact with highly concentrated sulphuric acid.

Procédé de préparation d'acide sulfurique à partir de gaz qui contiennent du SO¿3? et de l'acide nitrosylsulfurique gazeux par contact avec de l'acide sulfurique très concentré. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que l'on fait passer les gaz à travers au moins un refroidisseur dans lequel ils sont refroidis jusqu'à 160 à 130 ·C avant d'être mis en contact avec de l'acide sulfurique très concentré.
