PROCESS FOR PREPARING TRANSPARENT IRON OXIDE PIGMENT DISPERSIONS Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a process for preparing transparent iron oxide pigment dispersions. The dispersions are prepared by milling a mixture of iron oxide pigment and a liquid vehicle in a bead mill containing glass beads as the grinding media. The pigment dispersions can be used in the preparation of paints and coatings which exhibit transparent quality and absorb ultraviolet radiation.
